Who Are We?
We are a group of like-minded people, who have came together on Twitter, to promote a full and clean exit from the EU in accordance with the will of the people, captured through the 2016 referendum.
Our Twitter account @ActionBrexit was opened on 28th February 2019 and in a few months, we have amassed over 19,000 followers and increasing at a rate of 200 per day.
Our Position
We are against the government's Withdrawal Agreement - which is not Brexit and was created by EU leaders to facilitate an easy re-entry of the UK back into the EU.
Our Aims
BDA believe that our government should have fulfilled its manifesto pledge to implement the 2016 referendum result fully and exit the EU on 29th March 2019, with either an acceptable Withdrawal Agreement, or reverting to trading on WTO terms until a final trade deal is resolved.
In anticipation of a delayed Brexit, or worse - government and pro-remain activists forcing a 2nd referendum or stopping Brexit happening altogether, we are building block support for Pro-Brexit candidates at the forthcoming local authority and possible EU elections. We shall mobilise those voters should there be a General Election, with the aim of uniting all Pro-Brexit supporters groups and parties, thereby avoiding a potential splitting of votes across multiple Pro-Brexit candidates.
Current Activities
BDA are helping to coordinate various protests and movements such as; Marches to leave - Multiple hauliers in organised Go-Slows, petitions to local political party associations and publicity.
We are here to build a movement of democratic Brexiteers ready to vote tactically for endorsed ProBrexit candidates to deliver the will of the people.
